Il Gelso may be easily reached from all main road connections and directions: travelling north or southbound on the A1 Autostrada del Sole highway get off at the Valdichiana toll-booth, get on the toll-free Siena-Perugia speedway, direction Perugia, and get off at the Cortona exit, direction Camucia. After about 3 miles in Camucia turn right and follow signs  for Arezzo. After about 1/3 mile past the Q8 gas station you will find Il Gelso on the left-hand side.
